Bass fishing the Nashua River by dam at the canoe/kayak launch in Pepperell MA

A Great fishing spot along the Nashua River. Just don't go too close to the dam in this area. If you head upstream, there are a few bass boats looking for some killer bass. They have cast their lines out and are just waiting for a bass to strike.

There is another canoe/kayak launch at route 119 on the Pepperell-Groton line on one side of the road with a motorized boat/trailer launch on the opposite side of the road.

Between these 2 spots lies Pepperell Pond; this is an area of the river that is fairly wide with some little islands, small peninsulas jutting out into the river, and some small brooks feeding into the river.

These are ideal areas that offer some interesting structure for fish especially bass.

I am going to stop tonight somewhere at a fishing spot on the river to try my luck at catching a bass. I will probably be casting my line out from shore. I don't have the time to get my kayak or canoe up on my car, but I always travel with my rods and reels ready to go, and hop out to
